The Wizard's Scroll - Week 1

Hi Folks,
For those of you who follow my posts, you know that I like to be open with the numbers for my releases.  I think having this data available for other tiny publishers can only be a good thing.

So how did the zine do after being available on RPGnow in PDF for its first week?

It has 59 downloads and has made $75.02 in revenue.

I spent $53.80 on stock art to create the issue.  So it has made $21.22 to go towards issue 2..

It reached the #8 spot under "Hottest Titles" for about a day and it reached the #1 spot under "Hottest Small Press" for a few days.

Currently it sits at #21 for Hottest Titles and  #6 for Hottest Small Press.

Today, I uploaded the files for POD at RPGnow. So if all goes smoothly, it should be available in a couple weeks.

Well, that's all for now.

Till next time!

Things are coming together for the first issue of The Wizard's Scroll.

Here is a preview of the cover by the amazing Michael Clarke!

I'm going to ramp up the process for finishing this issue. So if you have something you wanted to submit, send it in soon.  I'm hoping to have this issue complete by Christmas.

Now Taking Submissions!

The Wizard's Scroll is open for submissions!

Send me whatever you have as long as it is for Swords & Wizardry: Complete, Core, WhiteBox and Light.

You retain all copyrights to your work. It can be adventures, monsters, locations, magic items, etc.

If you want to see your art in the zine, you can submit those as well. We like authors and artists equally here!

This is a brand new fanzine. There is no money to pay for submissions, but you will have the glory of seeing your name in print! I can give you a free PDF and an at cost print copy.

There is no schedule for the zine. Each issue will be released once enough material is gathered.

Send your submissions (text document) to chuckmason21atgmaildotcom.

P.S.
Please make sure your submissions are original. I can't include articles where you copied work from some place on the internet, like Wikipedia.

Also, please, please, do your best to edit your work before you send it in. I only have so much time to devote to this, and I can't rewrite articles.

With that said, I will try my best to include EVERYTHING that is sent in.  This is a fanzine after all!
